Welcome to ACES WEEKLY Volume 24, Week Six!
One of the world's finest comics creators left us a few days ago, and we pay tribute to him in this week of Aces Weekly. Steve Dillon was one of those artists to whom drawing was as natural as breathing - it came out of his fingertips like some kind of magic. I wish I'd had that in common with him - it would have been nice to just grow into becoming a great artist, like Steve did, instead of working hard to get there! One thing I did have in common with him was the pleasure of occupying the contents of a pioneering comic magazine called ' Warrior ', where Steve and lots of other bright sparks made a lasting impression on the medium. Aces Weekly has a lot in common with Warrior, and, like it, I'm glad to say that we too have many bright sparks in our contents. But we'll never have anyone quite like Steve Dillon.
Remember, we always want to hear from you. Ask questions, talk to us all, post to our blog, and see us over at facebook.com/acesweekly. Or send mail to [email protected] to see it right here, whatever you want to say!
