ACES WEEKLY Volume 18, Week Five!
Welcome to Week Five, and welcome to the first of our readers to take advantage of our Letters Dept :
Hi, Aces Weekly,
I've always liked the diversity of Aces Weekly, it's the main drive for me continuing my subs. The latest Volume, No.18, is no exception - in fact it's downright perfect! Bedtime Stories was beautifully illustrated and such a sad tale! Emma Chinnery continues to impress with her latest offering and, as before, I've no idea where the story is heading - suspense right till the bitter end, no doubt! Humph continues that great British tradition of cartoon stories so popular in grand comics like the Beano, Dandy, Topper, etc. and Aces Weekly should be applauded for carrying on with this type of strip - fun for everyone! All the rest are superb too, especially the latest episode of Dr Queer - Pigeons from Hull, now that's inspired!!!! Lastly, I got to meet & chat with Rachael Smith at the ICE Expo a few weeks back, a lovely lady who signed my copy of House Party & gave me a cat badge - a true Acer!!
Kind regards,
Rich.
Richard Phil Williams.
Thanks, Rich. That's just the kind of mail we like : ) I'm sure all our Aces will be happy to read those nice words - especially Rachael! Last word from us here : we'll be at the New York Comic Con next week, in Artists Alley at table T2. To any readers there : come see us if you are!
Remember, we always want to hear from you - whether you're as kind as Rich or not! Ask questions, talk to us all, post to our blog, or at facebook.com/acesweekly
