ACES WEEKLY Volume 17, Week Three.

In the work we do at conventions to introduce readers to Aces Weekly, one of our most valuable assets is the coded sketchcards we use to sell our individual Previous Volumes.  Some of you might be reading this volume through buying one, or were introduced to Aces via an earlier volume and then decided to become subscribers. Though the principal importance of these cards are the codes giving access to our volumes, the ones  that attract the most interest are, of course, those that have been illustrated by our many Aces creators, which, regrettably for potential buyers, go very quickly from our table!  Because of the clear popularity of these as a way of introducing people to our 200-page onscreen comics, we're planning to extend their reach beyond the shows, and offer them to comic stores, in batches, at a discount, for them to sell on to their customers in exactly the same way that they might sell a 200-page print comic.  Our aim at Aces Weekly has always been to  avoid many of the unnecessary means of reproducing and distributing comics for the many advantages it offers the creator and the reader, but we happily want to reach out to those points of sale that have always been the most dedicated and passionate purveyors of the medium we love.  We clearly have in common a desire to get great comics to readers, even if we do it in a dfferent way, so there's no reason we shouldn't join forces to do that!

If you think your local comic store might be interested in such a mutually beneficial arrangement, please let us know at [email protected] : )
